LORI’s CORNER/DDR PROGRAMS: CGC Test – Bring your dog! Free!

Downtown Dog Rescue invites you to come out to our Coliseum Dog Class this Sunday February 20th to have your Pit bull tested for Canine Good Citizenship Certification by Mark Tipton with AngelDogs Foundation.

There is no penalty for not passing and it’s a great way to find out what you need to practice with your dog to pass. Our goal is to certify more Pit bull type dogs living in South Los Angeles and the surrounding communities that often lack information and access to Canine Good Citizenship Certification. CGC certification is so important for anyone who rents and owns a pit bull type dog. Passing CGC could mean that your dog will be the exception to a “no pit bull” rule in an apartment or condo complex, keeping more dogs out of shelters!

If you have a social dog, friendly with people and other dogs and you are interested in testing for CGC RSVP

Lori@modernica.net We certified 10 dogs at our last meeting. Help us reach our goal of certifying 100 dogs in South Los Angeles!

The Coliseum Dog Class meets every Sunday at 9:30AM in the front of the entrance to the Coliseum off MLK blvd – (park at the Hoover lot)

Our class is the only location in South LA that tests dogs for CGC certification.
