WEST LA SHELTER RESCUE ME SPOTLIGHT: ROCKY, HAMSTER & SIMONE

Dogs who end up at West LA shelter are generally “luckier” than dogs at other city shelters like South LA because they generally get more time to find a home. But a pit bull in the shelter is still going to have a tough time finding the right home. For the three dogs listed below their right person just hasn’t come along yet and now their time is desperately coming to an end! Please consider meeting one of these dogs. They are living at the West LA Shelter. If you can adopt or foster call the shelter or

Rocky-A0958515 has been at West LA Shelter since Sept 16, 2010.
HIS TIME IS UP!!

This 3 year old guy has been through a lot. He was abandoned by his former owners along with his fellow pit bull friend. The landlords brought them to the shelter together. They were a nice pair. Then Rocky got adopted for a couple of days but the neighbor’s dogs was getting over the fence and obviously it was easier to return Rocky rather than fix the fence! Zeesh! So…now Rocky’s time is up at the shelter.

HE NEEDS TO FIND A HOME OR RESCUE!

Rocky is a cool dog that doesn’t need much. He likes to play fetch and hang out. Rocky is very quiet in his kennel and is happy when he gets to go for walks. He’d be great for someone who has a backyard and just wants to chill and throw a ball or he’d be just as great for an active person who likes to work out!
Rocky is worth saving! Come meet this dog at West LA Shelter before it’s too late!

Hamster (A1149240) has been at West LA Shelter since Nov 19th.
HIS TIME IS UP!

Hamster was adopted as a little puppy by a family. They loved him and trained him and said he was good with kids and other animals, but then Hamster got big and they didn’t have time for him anymore. Hamster is a family dog! He is young and has a lot of energy but he belongs in a home!! Hamster is only 2 years old. He is still very puppyish.
Please consider meeting him at the West LA Shelter.

Simone (A1138137) West LA Shelter – about 6 yr old, American
Staffordshire Terrier.
HER TIME IS UP!

Simone has been at the shelter since Aug 1st! She has been very patiently waiting for a forever home, but no one has come forward. Is it because of her age? Her breed? Her color? Who knows. What Simone DOES know is that she really would like to have a home. She is a dog that would love to learn! She likes food and toys and is very focused. Simone also likes a good game of fetch. Simone is calm around other dogs but is not
very interested in them. She would probably prefer to have a family all to herself. Come meet Simone today!
