ACTIVATE: Project Coco – We need help!

An army of volunteers from several of Los Angeles’ most reputable animal rescue organizations have spent countless hours, days and weeks working to ensure the near 100 dogs and 25 cats abandoned in the Mojave Desert are safe and in the care of those who will provide them with the love and care they so rightfully deserve. This past weekend, we spent time tearing down fences and cleaning up the property to ensure that no more animals could be put into the same unsafe and unsanitary hoarding situation that these 125 souls knew as their home for far too long. We now face the next step.

Now that all of the animals are safely off of the treacherous property, we need help finding foster homes and adoptive homes for each of the dogs. If you know anyone who can offer a safe haven for a dog until it finds a forever home, please contact us immediately.

It is currently costing $700 a week to board all of the dogs that were pulled from the property. We’ve already spent countless amounts of money on spaying and neutering these animals, not including the special medical attention that was absolutely necessary for so many. In order to get all of the dogs through boarding, we need to raise $3,000.00. Every donation counts. We’re asking our supporters to please help us spread the word by sharing this note across Facebook and sending out pleas to animal loving friends and family members.

Karma Rescue has set up a special PayPal account for this emergency situation. All donations are secure and 100% tax deductible!
