Dear little Magoo is patiently waiting for someone to save him and his underbite. I received word yesterday from the shelter that his time is up — and he will be put to sleep if not rescued / adopted. I’ve watched Magoo for nearly 7 weeks and each time I see him, I can’t help but smile. Looking up with those wide eyes, those funny little teeth, he’s as cute as he can be — only weighs 21 pounds. But, he’s lost in a shelter that gets in 10, 20, 30 dogs a day. Regardless of the fact that he stands up to greet everyone, wagging his tail with joy; regardless of his sweet soul, Magoo is still a number among many. Please, don’t let Magoo die. Magoo (A1102422, 2 years old, just 21 pounds, at the shelter since March 25th — way beyond the normal shelter welcome period) caught my eye the first time I saw him. That underbite was overly cute. When Magoo looks up at you with that entire row of bottom teeth exposed, there is absolutely no way you can keep from smiling. And smile Magoo does as well. He’s a happy fella, all of the time. An energetic, very active, curious, funny little guy. Magoo does not blend in — he is truly unique. Magoo has been kenneled with many other small dogs and done well for over a month now.
