URGENT: SouthGate 67 animal cruelty case Adoption Update

If you have a family member or friends that have been wanting to adopt or foster a dog, please let them know about these remaining Southgate 67 dogs. They are running out of time and 1 dog has already been put to sleep.

Their original guardians never came back to claim them. If you cannot take them but can help with expenses for these dogs, please make a donation.

If you cannot adopt or donate but can give your time, Evidence of Love volunteers walk the remaining dogs every Saturday and could use good dog walking volunteers.

There were 67 dogs that were recently rescued by the SEAACA shelter from a boarding facility that was run by a person who allegedly starved, abused and severely neglected all the dogs at the boarding facility. When these dogs were picked up by SEAACA all were severely emaciated, had open skin sores and mange. Most of the 67 dogs were picked up by their owners….however dogs still remain at the SEAACA shelter and need to be adopted out as soon as possible to loving families or responsible rescue organizations.

Some of the other dogs have some degree of mange and all are very underweight. We have some available foster homes BUT need DONATIONS to cover the medical expenses. Donations are very appreciated.

These sweet dogs have gone through such a nightmare and do not deserve to die in a shelter. They are all sweet dogs and deserve to feel love, happiness and comfort.

LENNY
Hi, my name is Lenny. I’m a male Dalmatian pit mix. My rescue friends also call me stud muffin. They tell me I’m a handsome dog and just a bundle of love to be with. I walk well on a leash, listen to commands and will sit or lay down for treats. They think I am about four years old. I’m a gentle soul with so much to give.I am available for immediate adoption as I am already neutered and vaccinated with all my shots. Please adopt or foster me and I will show you how much love I can give you.

GOLDIE
Hi, my name is Goldie. I am a very sweet and gentle female pit mix. My rescue friends think I am about four years old. I’m a loving dog that is just very shy and really scared of what I have been through. I am slowly getting better and over coming my fears of the outside world. As I get to know you, I will be affectionate and loving. I really do enjoy being with people and going on walks. I take treats gently and will walk carefully on a leash. I am good being with dogs and even the little ones. I’m good with cats and they are fine with me. I really do need to be a home where I know I will be safe and can become confident again. Sometimes I feel being in my kennel is a safe place. Please adopt or foster me and I will show you how much love I can give you.

PRECIOUS
Hi, my name is Precious. I’m a very sweet female pit mix that has gone through so much hardship. I’m very shy and scared because of my past. I will go on walks with you however I can be very cautious wherever I go. I just need a little TLC and will turn around very soon. Once, I’m in a warm safe home I will feel safe and confident again. My rescue friends tell me I’m a very sweet girl that has a lot of affection to share. They think I am about four years old. Please adopt or foster me and I will show you how much love I can give you.
