Dog Film Festival, Program 2

Features short documentary films and more sophisticated narrative films (some of which are foreign language with subtitles – more challenging for younger children). Please note that the content of Program #1 and Program #2 is different.

More about the festival:

A Bring-Your-Own-Dog Celebration! The World’s First Film Festival entirely for, by and about dogs… and their people!

The historic Crest Westwood Theater [1262 Westwood Blvd in Westwood] will be welcoming canine moviegoers (at no extra charge!) along with their dog-loving human companions. The Lange Foundation will have adoptable dogs on hand, looking for their forever homes and a chance to get photos on the Green Carpet, alongside moviegoers and their own dogs!

There are two film programs which consist of completely different groups of narrative, animated and documentary short films from around the world, all illuminating the remarkable bond between people and dogs. The two unique programs run approximately 1 ½ hours each and combine a medley of shorts into one continuous film for a shared experience of joy, amazement and amusement. NOTE: If you want to have the full dog-loving movie-going once-in-a-lifetime experience, you’ll want to come to both programs!
