HANDSOME
from Downtown Dog Rescue
Handsome is a 10 month old Pit bull Terrier + English Bull Dog mix also known as a Bully. He had a young owner who decided that with school and other activities, owning a dog was not something that he could handle.
Still a puppy, he turned to DDR to help him find Handsome a home. We have been in Handsomes life from the start.
Our organization paid to vaccinate and neuter him, we spayed his mama dog and Handsome has been coming out to Pit bull School practically as soon as he was weaned. He is leash trained, house trained and loves other dogs. This is a very sweet dog with a gentle temperament.
We estimate he will weigh about 60lbs at full maturity. He has been microchipped and is current on his vaccinations.

Peggy was at the South LA Shelter and a plea went out to rescues to get her….she was terrified at the shelter. And once we found out that Peggy was missing her left hind paw we jumped in the car and went to get her.
She is all wiggle butt and kisses and loves to play with toys. A soft bed is an absolute wonder to her….she pounces on them like they are going to disappear.
Peggy gets along with dogs of all shapes and sizes and her tail is always wagging! We don’t know what happened to her paw but it is an old injury and does not slow her down.
Peggy will light up your life. Come and meet this happy, pretty girl.
